Life!! What is that all about ey!! Always gets in the way!! Hope it was nothing bad. Looking forward to seeing your artwork for the album - thanks for all your work so far on this - good of you to spend your own personal time doing all this. I have no problems with you putting my track on the radio. Cheers Rich

No problems here ............... except a request. I have made a couple of timing alterations to the song I submitted, and would like to know if I might get you to use the new version instead? If not ......... that's fine too.

the compalation album title - opinions? the messed up text will most likely be somewhat transparent. I just got the ok from a talented photographer to us her photo for the cover. I'm pretty excited about it. I'm hoping to finish it up this weekend.

We got an update to ours. What about these that muso pointed out. Turning it into a CD would be so cool and I bet the next challenge would be inundated with entries

Rich/Vassa....tracks update. had to fight with the cakewalk publisher..It kept duplicating the first and last track for some reason... I really wish they had an updated version that would let you save several different playlists for different server locations.

Just finished the artwork for the CD. I still have to add all the text (Haven't decided what to put into it yet) and redesign the website. I put about 8 hours into it today. and i am pretty happy with the way it came out. I would share,...but i want to wait until everything is done. If I do decide to create a CD version along with the downloadable version....then i will need all the wave files??? does everyone really want a CD version? I will only do cafepress,..because of the artwork (kunaki.com dosnt have full artwork) which means that It will only sell for the cost to print it. or,..I just include all the artwork with the download,..and people can print them out them selves?

I wouldn't mind sending the WAV. But whatever you decide is fine. If it's just a download I probably won't print and burn, that's too much work. :-)

Site is pretty much done, except for a few small tweaks. I am waiting on a reply from wrench concerning some writing material (hopefully he got mt email.. ) now, If everyone really wants to do a full CD,..then i will need the wave files for all of the tracks submitted. I can set a new FTP folder up. but i need participation from everyone in order to go through with it. wave files will need to be zipped. standard 44100/16bit. I looked into kunaki.com, and although they have their own selling page,...its only active for 180 days if there are no sales,...then it gets canceled. that, and it looks like shipping starts at $5. so, it would be about $6.75 I think for a CD. (no profit to anyone, including me) cafepress lets me have full color artwork. 4 page standard CD print. kunaki.com only has a cover insert/ 2 sides,..and no CD tray artwork. i like full artwork. but, cafepress costs more. both have really nice quality. I have samoffs CD, printed from kunaki.com. And USB's CD from cafepress. both are really good quality. The down-loadable album is set up, and as soon as I get the site uploaded,...It will be free to everyone.

Not that I am involved in this or anything, but what about tthlabel.com that wet dentist used? They seem to have a bunch of options for printing and a shop too...don't know how they compare to Cafepress price-wise though.

The product could very well be good,...but the whole design just bugs me. Im not saying my web skills are better than everyone elses,..as I only know basic HTML. but the site just looks ugly, and cheap....lol

Yeah, that was my impression when I first looked at it (and still is)...it seems somewhat bolted together and not the most coherent design (the way the message about not being logged in appears in the bar does not fit in with the page design). Not that I can talk, as anyone who has peeked at my page will know that it is nowhere near my strong point Still, maybe underneath the mediocre looks lies a beautiful butterfly...or a really good product, in non-bad Hollywood rom-com speak!

If you use Kunaki you're best off buying 50 straight away. Having them sent to a US address then sending half over to someone in the the UK. It works out at about $2 per CD for the initial 50. The postage to the UK would have to be added and paid for by us Brits.

i agree that the website TTH has is glitchy and difficult (it took me a while to figure out how to upload my cd's wave files and artwork, FOR SURE) but i like the ability to purchase one at a time, and the fact that they give you that website button to automate the purchase from anywhere the button is embedded. but man, that site needs an overhaul.
3.5 Ghz AMD 6-Core/16 gigs RAM, Roland Quad-Capture, Win 10, Cakewalk by Bandlab, Komplete 10, z3ta+, Z3TA+ 2, Rapture, Maschine 2.7 (MKI & Jam), Melodyne 4 Studio, Ozone 4, Jam Origin MIDI Guitar 2, Schecter Damien Elite, Fender Sonoran w/TronicalTune Plus installed, etc go here to hear Wet Dentist (2000-2016 RIP) my new sounds: The Das Kaput
