EZPP - My Midifiles

OK, so I managed to figure out how to create MIDI Groove Clips and export. I've also figured out that in order to use them in EZD or EZPP you need to put them in the My Midifiles directory. I am now able to drag them into EZPP and I hear everything just fine.

NOW, 2 more questions:

1) How do you use 2 different kits in EZPP like the CEO did in the video? (I need to use a Nashville Kit and the Latin Kit.)

2) I want to multitrack my beats for this particular project. What is the most efficient way to do this? Do I have to have both kits imported as multitrack taking up precious real estate?

I've looked in the manuals and I think they're written for more advanced users, because MIDI speak is a new language I'm learning.

Thanks in advance!
Scott

    1) Toontrack Solo
    2) if you load up the EZX's as multi-track stereo outs with enabled midi out
    ( I think ) enabled

    Hi Scott-
    1) How do you use 2 different kits in EZPP like the CEO did in the video? (I need to use a Nashville Kit and the Latin Kit.)

Using SONAR, this is what I did:

    1. Insert EZPP, being sure to check "Enable MIDI Output" on the Properties page when you do.
    2. Insert 2 instances of EZD in SONAR.
    3. Set the Input for each EZD MIDI track to a unique EZPP MIDI Output channel.
    4. Enable Input Echo on the EZD MIDI tracks.
    5. Set up two EZPP tracks so they output to the MIDI channels your EZD instances are assigned to.
    6. Set the mapping in the EZPP tracks to Toontrack > EZdrummer.

    HTH-
