How to bounce multiple tracks in Sonar

Hey Guys

I am new to Sonar. I use VST instruments to compose digital orchestrated scores.

I have a professional studio that I am hiring to do my mastering of my tracks. They do not use sonar, and asked me to bounce all my midi tracks individually and export them separately as wav files so that they can import them in there DAW. They use Digital Performer and ProTools.

My question is, how do I bounce each individual midi track. Usually I just select all and bounce and it flattens all my midi tracks into one track. But how can I bounce so that I have a track for each midi track ?

Is that the Bounce to clip function ?

Any help would be awesome !!

Thanks in advance !!

You need to select all MIDI tracks with their associated vsti outputs and select Bounce - "Tracks" as the option . If you've done everything OK, you will see one bounced track per MIDI track. This will work only if each MIDI track has a different audio output (otherwise you will have to set the project this way).

Does this then mean that I cannot use 1 instance with kontakt 3 with 10 different sample instruments loaded in it ? Cause the then all output through the 1 instance of kontakt ?
So is it better then to have multiple instances of a sampler with only 1 instrument loaded in each ?
Or is there a way to route all your midi channels (even if they share the same sampler) to a different output ?

    Thanks in advance

    Either, or both.

You can bounce to 4 tracks using a single instance, or using 4 instances of Kontakt.

Sonar is smart enough to figure out what you mean..... just select the MIDI inputs and Synth outputs you wish to use before the bounce.
