Raspier VST

I've downloaded the Raspier VST for bass guitar, unpacked and installed it in the C\program files\cakewalk\VST folder, but it doesn't show up in my audio or midi effects in MC4.

I'm not 100% sure if it's an audio or midi effect either. I've installed a few Voxengo VSTs and they all show up in the audio fx - is there a limit on the amount of fx I can have in the folder?

I can see it in the VST folder BTW, as 'Raspier.dll'. Here's the VST anyway, any ideas?

You're right, it's not an audio or a midi effect, it is a softsynth

    Rob....just a thought....

I always make a new folder in my CW directory named Soundfonts. I send all my soundfonts to their own folders. I have culled some of the chintzy sounding fonts....so my list is rather small.

My procedure: download the file in "my downloads". Unpack/unzip in the same folder. CUT the new upacked file and paste it into my "Soundfont" folder in CW.

Guitarhacker - when you created your new folder, did you create it as a subfolder of Cakewalk, or a subfolder of the VSTs folder?

Did you have to point the VST scanner to your new folder then? That's the reason I ask.

    Cheers

Quick question before I go - I like your track 'Corridors Of Time', it's got a real sort of Mark Knopfler-ish feel about it IMO. The snare drum and bass really stand out to me - can you tell me what drum and bass package you use please? (apologies if it's a trade secret!)
