I try not to think, it hurts to much. Very bar room sound to it. Reminds me of Yuma AZ. Cheers Shad

Tom, you know I love your originality, and here you go again with a great honky-tonk country swing song. Way to go. This is good.

Okay I'm not a fan of country music, but overall I think it's a well-written song but I would personally like it more if it was a bit more gritty. Seems a little too polished for my taste. The piano part is really cool - sounds like you're in an old saloon. Really like the breakdown around 3:00. Nice smooth vocals. Dave www.soundclick.com/steakbone

My reaction is the same as Dave's. Not my genre, but it's a good song. And it might be nice if you gritted it up a little, and went for a slightly more 'outlaw' or club feel. I always feel that the more hooky a song, the more you should grit it up in order to balance that out. The vocal delivery is great and very professionally done. Like a lot of country music (to me anyway), the music seems a little more just a backdrop for the vocal and never calls attention to itself too much, though I really like the little breakdown. The lyrics are very good as well.

Somewhere I missed country genre, also. Extremely competent piece, to my ears. (I, frankly, would have liked a little more metal or orchestra, therein ... but that could have ruined the simplicity)
