S'funny old mate, my GT3 doesn't seem to have those problems.

Pete,

Welcome Back! you've been missed, really. No, I mean it, really. Based on all the wire running through those old boards they must have had horrible problems with latency. Then consider the fact that all of the effects were added externally and you can only imagine how that old latency problem could just ruin a whole days work. They probably used long mic cables as well only adding to the problem. If a signal running through copper cable travels at 0.05 mm/s, just do the math.. all that wire! Horrible, horrible problems with latency!!!

I just want you to know that it was purely a coincidence that I happened to post your picture in the Working with Busses thread. Sorry if I let out any secrets on your part.

Steve,

How is it that so many of the uses of this fine institution of a forum have their pictures so readily accessible on the net? I'll have to start filtering my searches better.

When I was a kid we had to use Portastudios, uphill! both ways!!

Ok, If I move this slide thing here.. Hey what happened to George's vocals?

LOL!!

That looks like a moody b&w pic of Doc hard at work there CJ - mind you, I can't see any Guinness so I must be barking up the wrong tree

Wrong tree. Wrong board. wrong guy.

And since when am I moody? At least I know to stay clear of everyone when I'm being unsociable. And you know how the last month went for me. Just for that top of the motte at dawn. Be sure to bring your second, mate I'll bring the dueling pistols.

I have no second Doc, and the motte is still flooded from last year!

As I shall be unable to attend due to a er........ um......... prior engagement, I nominate my substitute, PistolsAtDawnPete to take my place.

He'll be easy enough to spot, he'll probably be holding his gun the wrong way round.

Actually, you don't realize it but yours does have a latency issue and so does mine and everyone else's. Using a line6 doesn't fix it, it's still there. You are just going around the problem and not fixing it.

I say, just where have you learned to speak English, Old Bean?

Do you not know what a motte is? Please see the Oxford Dictionary for proper English definition of a motte. Here is the link should you have any trouble finding it. Link.

If in doubt there are two sites within driving distance of your home in Worcester. The first can be found at Ford Abbey Just off the A44. If you look it up on the interweb I am sure you will be able to find proper directions to the site.

The other site is known as Longtown Castle. It's a bit of a ways away near Hereford. I would imagine you would be able to find directions to the castle ruins on the interweb as well.

I will expect that you will be heading back to school to learn to speak proper English again, lest us colonist might mistake you for a Yank.

Oh, right! That was bit tongue in cheek now wasn't it? And Ameringlish? I think you have been spending a wee bit too much time surveying interweb sites from us Yanks. Last I checked we speak American. A different dialect of English not be confused with the English spoken by Her Royal Majesty's Subjects. We spell honor H-O-N-O-R not Honour. Now Strummy, you must get with the program we can't have you confused for a colonist.

I wish it to be known that I am neither a punctuation fanatic nor am I greatly interested in the bowel - therefore, I would ask you not to associate me with the word colonist.

Thank you good Sir

But Strummy,

This weeks special is a round trip to the Americas for a mere 200 Sterling. Only catch is that you have to stay for 2 months. Just think of all the fun you can have and the fact we can properly Americanize you. I think Bob would welcome the opportunity.

£200 sterling - man, that's very reasonable.

What's the easiest way for you to send me the money?

I'll be sure to send the return ticket to your home after you have arrived in the USA. Don't need you saying us yanks don't do what we say we're going to do. Right?

Now what's that got to do with GT4?

You're always moaning at me for causing trouble in the 'big' forum yet here you are, clearly floating off topic without a thought for the consequences of your actions.

You should follow my example good Doctor and stick to the subject matter in hand.

Now, as to GT4, how about free return air tickets from Birmingham International to Idaho free with every copy purchased.

1st class.

And a free in-flight packet of pork scratchings personally hand salted and checked for piggy-nipples by the captain.

Sometime in the fall. The details are still being hashed out. I wonder where Doc gets his tickets for 200 Sterling. That definitely isn't 1st class.

I'd certainly suggest you have a word with him Pedro - a couple of hundred quid will buy you a nice seat on a De Havilland Comet.

One way though - vertically - down

Now - back to the tour; I guess that by 'fall' you actually mean autumn?

I just hope people are autumning over themselves to buy tickets

Sorry.

No, I am.

Honest...
