Event Filter Problem

In S7P 7.02 (under XP Home SP2), has anyone noticed this (bug?) in the event filter: It won't work unless you click down that (very high) value for the max note duration. And hitting ALL or NONE resets that high value. This affects the GO=>Search and Process=>Interpolate commands for selected MIDI data. It's been happening on many but not all of my projects. Maybe I'm missing something?

Example: You have selected MIDI data in one or more tracks. You invoke Procees - Interpolate, and without changing anything on the screen, hit OK. Normally it would become the Replace screen. Abnormally, nothing happens at all. If you tick down that high number at the end of the note line, then it works normally. But if you're filtering on a single category of event, like Program Change, you gotta untick the other events manually after fixing that parameter in the note category leaving just Program Change ticked. Because hitting NONE (then choosing the event category you want) ticks back the errant (note) parameter, and the function won't work then, even if it's not searching on notes.

Thanks for any help, RonL

    Nobody?

Could someone with S7P under Win XP SP2 do me this favor: Select a midi track and hit Process-Interpolate. Without changing any settings, just hit OK. Does the REPLACE dialog come up? If not, does manipulating the value in the Note-Duration-Max box return the function to normalcy?

    Thanks for any help,

Just curious if you ever resolved the problem with the event filter. I'm having the same issue with Sonar 8

Sorry, can't remember - (and don't have those versions installed now.)  Just tested in X3.  The menu names have changed, but the functionality appears to work.  Perhaps there's a CAL script that does what you want?

    Good luck.  -Ron
