Finding Midi Beat Pattern

I have a drum track filled with clips... The first two clips I can read 'Pop Rock' on the upper left corner of each clip... On all the other clips, which are not the same as the first two it reads Untitled... I am trying to find that beat but I am having to go through my entire midi beat library and it's taking forever... there must be an easier way to find what that beat is.... any suggestions? I know there is a bug in HS that places the word 'busy' on each track so I,m wondering is this the same thing.... I had the beat name up there for awhile... I didn't write it down like I should have... I'm using Addicted Drums by the way... Can anyone help me out?

Right click the clip, and go to the Audio Files tab and that will tell you the file name and location.

I don't have that problem, but I use Sonar7 Producer so I don't know if its a Sonar 6 problem. Check the file properties and see if it finds the file and location.

I right clicked it and went to file properties and there was nothing printed in the box... any other ideas for my shrinking head Dave? (besides writing each file down )

Nope. Either Sonar can't find the file (did you move it) or its a bug in the program (which I doubt, but its possible).

Also, I know nothing about Addictive drums. I use drum groove clips. Are they MIDI clips or audio clips?

I'm pretty sure its a problem with Addictive Drums and not Sonar. Apparently its not passing the filename to Sonar. Do you have the latest updates for that software? Try re-wrapping the VST (rescan).

I am trying to find that beat but I am having to go through my entire midi beat library and it's taking forever...

If you're wanting to use it in the same project (or even a new or different one) why not just copy it? Rename it what you wish...

    Regards,
