Ketron SD2 - Accessing sounds in other banks.

Hi,

I just recently purchase the Ketron SD2 sound module and I am using it in my studio to enhance my GM recordings. I must admit the drums and bass sound real. However does anyone out there (using this unit) know how to access the other sounds of the other non GM banks? From the manual it says you can access banks A, B and C (non GM banks) and apparently, these are where the best sounds are located.

Any help will be appriciated here. Can't wait to release the next CD with this thing.

    I assume that you are using the Ketron SD2 with SONAR? If so, then...

    1. The answer's in my review, right here in the Gear forum.

    2. I'll give it here too: You have to provide MIDI CC messages for Bank Change, with MSB only. If that's too complicated (I did it successfully, and I think it's too complicated, and I'm a MIDI head ), then do the easy thing: Download and import the instrument definition to SONAR. That's the .INS file. It will open up all the patches that the instrument has, right before your eyes, right inside the MIDI track.
