Tune rework with Sonar 6

Hello everyone,

Here is a reworking of a tune that I did about 15 years ago using an Atri system.

The tune is called "It's Still Farther Away".

The Cakewalk version can be found at old tunes.

The original version can be found at new tunes.

As always I welcome your comments and any technical suggestions you might have.

Regards

GT

Would you mind providing a direct link to the song? I went to your site but could not find it.

    Cheers

    Thanks Jon.

Sounds pretty good. It might be a tad hot (this is the second one that sounds a bit hot today - I wonder if I have damaged my monitors doing something...)

Very interesting sound scape you have going on here.

    Cheers

    Hello Grandpa,

Interesting sounds. I think a thematic motiff of some kind would bring a lot to the piece. You've got the background sounding good.

    Hi again Shad,

The link Jon gave you was for the old version. If you listened to that version, it is a little hot. The new version peaks on both channels at -0.1 db. I kind of like to run the ragged edge. Your monitors are probably ok.

    New version - http://grandpatunes.com/stillfartheraway.mp3

Thanks for taking the time to listen and thank you for your comments.

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for taking the time to listen and thank you for your comments. I'll have to work on my thematic motiff chops.
