Video Track?

I am pretty new to Sonar 8 studio and recording in general. I have a project that was doing weird things, like not letting me split files. So, I decided to just record the track over again. Now it won't let me record at all. Since I seem to get these haunted projects every one is a while, I decided to create a new project and just copy the tracks over that are working.

I also open a blank template and insert the tracks I want. When I try that now, I get some sort of video track...saying no video and 000's for the times. So, I'm thinking I must have accidentally turned on some feature that I do not want and that is creating my problems. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Annette

How are you inserting tracks? Importing audio? Right-clicking to add a blank track?

If it's just the video track, you can hide it by pressing the L key. Or click the icon on the track view tool bar that looks like a filmstrip. Or drag up the bar separating the video track from the rest of the tracks.

But sorry that doesn't help explain why you can't record.

    Thanks Tarsier,

I must be hitting keys I'm not aware of at the wrong times. Yesterday it was the "Q", I had inadvertently muted the track I guess. Now this!

Umm, I fixed the record problem.. it was a technical error

    Thanks.
