Superior Drummer

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and new to Sonar. I got a version of Sonar free with an interface and I decided to give it a go. I loaded a song and started mixing and I'm pretty happy with how it looks and how easy it is to navigate. I've had no problems mixing or loading my waves fx's and so on but I am having trouble locating Superior Drummer so I can lay down some drum tracks

Any help would be much appericated

Thanks

Session Drummer 2 is a VSTi plugin, but I can't tell you that it comes in Sonar LE with any certainty.

I can't say that this chart is comprehensive and 100% correct, but it does show what instruments are shipped with what versions of SONAR as of December 2007: SONAR Editions Compared.

Cakewalk is a nice prog and I'm thinking of buying the latest update, but not if I can't figure out how to get Superior Drummer working, so any help with loading VSTi's is really appreicated

How do you get a full version (5 or 6) free with an interface? Not to cast doubt, but usually it's a lite version of Sonar (LE) that comes with hardware.

Superior Drummer is a different product from Session Drummer, which used to be a virtual drum machine and morphed into a drum box with attached midi files.

I've seen adds for Superior Drummer (I think) but have no good idea what it is.
