Placeholder for overflowing rant

Breaking news

Willy J. , who some of us judge to be the quickiest customer relationship manager ever, just solved a long-during problem. He's my hero.

Have you logged into your user account?
    http://store.cakewalk.com/b2cus/Login.aspx
Have you tried emailing Customer Service? http://www.cakewalk.com/About/contact.asp

FWIW - I HAVE had issues getting new products registered, getting correct links to downloadable products, getting ship to/bill to addresses correct, etc. But - I have NEVER had any issue with Cakewalk take longer than 3 or 4 days to get resolved.

Everything Brando said is just plain truth.

I love Rapture personally, and a magazine article would be unlikely to change my opinion about it. It has definitely become my go-to synth.
I wonder if your SN was emailed to you - have you checked your spam settings, and your junk mail?

All I can say is that Brando is a nice guy and he's right.

That's nonsense. A light year is a unit of distance, not time. No wonder you haven't gotten your serial number yet.

Just kidding. I'm sorry but I haven't posted in a while. If I were in your position I'd know I'd be pissed as hell, having been through it (though not with Cakewalk). Nothing more frustrating than buying a download-able product that you expect to be able to use right away, and then you can't because the email with the serial number has not come.

Thank you for your reply, Brando, which excels CRT (Cakewalk response time) by light years.

Hey Mick! Your knowledge of Physics is welcome and enables me to elaborate on the distance that can take place between a customer and his partner. ;-)

However, CW has decided to resist this rant. They've just sent a nice mail to clarify this issue. I'd like to thank all of you for your help and participation. [edit] There is an happy end.[/edit]

I suggest to kill this outdated thread as there's no reason to keep it alive anymore. The warm and most welcome suggestions of Brando and Mick will die also but I'm sure they can handle it. :)
