how do i unlock the tracks?

in guitar tracks pro, the tracks usually lok into place, meaning you can oput a track in the middle of a number on the timeline, it locks it into a place in the time, line, how to i disable tis so i can place a track anywherei want on the timeline and not have to wory about it snaping into possition?

You need to turn off the Snap To Grid function - just click on the button as shown in this screenshot:

Glad to help Jade - just for future reference, when it's turned on, the snap to grid function can be fine tuned to set the accuracy to which it can be set to snap; click on the drop down menu on the right of the button for the options.
