Quiet computer case?

Hey guys,

What do you think would be a more quiet case? A cooler master cosmos 1000 or a 4U rack case?

I love my CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 for being very quiet and darn good looking. Very easy to use too.

    agreed. these are killer...

Then, you could go crazy with one of these:

Of course, keep in mind that most cases are inherently pretty quiet. It's the CPU fan/chassis fans that usually add the most noise.

You'd want to make sure for a dedicated DAW that you go with a fanless video card, get a high quality quiet CPU fan (like the arctic cooler) and very quiet chassis fans.

Jim at Studiocat built mine using an Antec Sonata - pretty quiet case...but my LDC's still pick it up...

    The iStar cases are fine...
But their "quiet" PSs are really not that quiet.
