A Simple Poll On Sound Forge

I'm curious if anyone here uses Sound Forge 9 from Sony.

A YES or NO is fine.

Thanks

No - and not because it's not a good product. It is. I just make a point not to give Sony any money if I can avoid it. Adobe Audition is a nice alternative.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Years ago, before it was Sony I used it. At that time, there wasn't much else available that did what it could do. Then along came CoolEdit, GoldWave, and others.

There are many other inexpensive choices available now.

Same here. On the rare occasion that I DO use it, it's pretty nifty.

    No.

I bought Sound Forge 6 a while back, used it on 1 song, went back to my free copy of Cool Edit (Adobe Audition). I like my mastering software to be simple. I got enough headaches with mixing.

yes, but may switch to Adobe Audition if SF10 isn't a major upgrade.
