New Forum for the V-Studio 700?

With all the speculative posts, questions, and other musings about the new hardware product, not due until Q1 next year, it might help to keep the focus on Sonar here, if we had a new forum for this product.

There will be a new forum for V-Studio shortly but I can't say exactly when. But soon.

    Brandon,

Will there be modular pricing on the V-Studio 700 (as in right out of the gate)?

No it's a package deal and it's the whole shebang. All software + all hardware.

    Hey thanks Ian! Always appreciated.

(checking out the first couple songs on your myspace...nice stuff. Despite your disclaimer, your vocals remind me of Elvis Costello...and that's a good thing).

What about us folks who already ordered Sonar 8 PE? I really want the Control Surface and I was willing to buy the I/O unit just for the Synth. People are going to want some options in this deal. Here comes another round of email overload.

Great! I'll put that $200.00 toward the second computer I'll have to buy to use my second copy of Sonar 8.

I'd say that from other comments that this is the first in a line of products that there will in time be individual products at different performance levels and a more modular approach. I think Cakewalk just want to create their stamp (with ROLAND) on a totally unified and complete package and I think that's understandable for a first product of this nature. It gives them better control to target their market with a complete package. Less can go wrong.

its not out yet , but the more i see and read about it i love it! i'm addicted to Cakewalk now! And this is coming from an Avid Pro Tools user. I cant wait to see future iteration of this product!

By the way this product is the only product ever that has me glued on any forum on the net!
