HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please and thank you.

I was inserting the names for my part markers and I hit a wrong key. All I can see on my screen is the last track and the buses. It is locked on that track. I came up as big as the screen. I don't know what I hit or how to fix it.

Thanks.

No luck....I have no idea what I've done. I was just selecting the markers to put in the part.

Did you accidentally hit the maximize icon in track one? That will blow up track one to fill the whole screen except for the buses. To fix, just click again and it will minimize.

Hey Nutty, I may be over simplifying your problem, but something like that happened to me last week. I don't know what I pushed but all of a sudden I had a screen full of a single track. I was able to click on console view and then back to track view and that fixed it. Good Luck, Jim.

Fixed. I still don't know what I did, but I remembered that there different commands to adjust the screen, like F and then I remembered there was something for the A key, so I hit that and they reappeared. Thank goodness. It is now saved again!

It was something like that Dave because the last track become larger. I'll have to look up the A key now and see what it undoes. I should glue that command list to my forhead.

go to Options, MIDI and make sure you have your MIDI set up the way it should be. Maybe something changed there. You should see your MIDI devices

Also check for stray Mute/Solo's. If any are enabled, you will see a light at the bottom of your screen. turn it off to disable them.
May not be the problem, but something to look at.
If nothing else, restart the project. Sometimes the synths lose their way, and they need a little nudge to get going again.

They do lose their way, more so with some user's than others. At least my problem solving skills are getting better!

I have the habit of adding about 6 audio tracks at a time. And I'm getting very quick at setting up the inputs and outputs. Apparently too quick for these old eyes. It appears that I didn't look at the name of the track, so I inadvertenly changed the input and output of the TTS-1 audio track. But, I have my banjo back..yee haa....You'll have to wait and see this next song to understand. Nutty goes country....how about that! It was another's persons lyrics again that I wrote the melody for.

Thanks guys for your replies. I try and keep in line for the rest of the evening.

Good advice.... when in doubt...restart... if that doesn't work reboot.

I have to do that every so often.....MC looses communication with Saffire and I need to restart both...then all is lovely again...

Nutty, there is a button above the view which, when clicked, automatically reverts to the previous view.

Thanks Greg, I will look for it. Now that I'm digging in there with the mixing, I am learning so much more about MC.
