For those who have an M-audio Oxygen...

I asked this in another forum(i asked the wrong question), but i'll give it another shot. I'm new to Midi controllers, and i own a M-audio Oxygen 49 keyboard. Does anyone know how to send data from this keyboard you've created/played to Sonar 6XL? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have Sonar Producer, but I think the process would be similar...

    1. Plug in the USB cable and turn on the keyboard.
    2. Start Sonar.
    3. Configure the midi devices in Sonar and select the Oxygen keyboard.
    4. Insert a MIDI track and a soft synth you want the Oxygen to trigger.
    5. Set the MIDI input to the Oxygen keyboard (omni channel is best until you understand channels).
    6. Set the MIDI output to the soft synth.
    7. Insert an audio track, set the input to the soft synth's output, and set the output so that it goes to your soundcard.
    8. Try playing something and see if you get sound.

You can use me as your eSoundz referral (altima_boy_2001).
