Guitar Synth/modeller recommendation

I've recently came into a bit of cash (insurance claim) and am upgrading some gear. I've ordered a Godin LGX-SA for midi control and better guitar stuff.

Any recommendations of a Roland VG-99 vs. Axom MK-100

    Sorry....couldn't resist. Wish I could help but I have no experience with either. I will comment that I use my guitar synth way less than I expected to. I am glad I have it but I think it is finally sinking in with me that more gear will not make my output improve in quantity or quality. Ooops....sorry, didn't mean to step up on a soapbox there.

    Think I've settled on the Roland VG-99. After reading everything I coulds find, it seems to suit what I need. The modelling and quasi guitar synth stuff is real time, no latency, and I can still use it for midi control of soft synths with a simple usb interface. From what I've read of midi control, it isn't the be all, but I'm sure it is fun.

    As for my playing, more gear can't hurt, can it? As I always say, Lord help me cause I'm just not that bright!!
