Wireless headset Microphone suggestions

I am a worship leader in a church that uses a full band on Sundays. I am interested in a wireless headset mic and wanted to get some feedback/suggestions from you all. I am looking at the AT892 MicroSet but am not sure about the omni pattern. How much of a difference does the mic pattern play in a wireless headset? I am willing to go up to $400 for the right mic. Thanks!

Mic pattern plays a HUGE part of the sound/feedback rejection in a headset mic. You do NOT want an Omni mic.

Look into the Countryman line of mics. You can spend $400 and fight it, or you can spend about $900 and never have a problem. Specifically, check into what Broadway shows are using, and do what they do.

    Good luck!

Corey, thanks for that advice. I was feeling unsure about an omni in this situation and so I am glad that you shared your thoughts. I will keep looking into it and see what I can come up with. The biggest difficulty is that I am smack dab in the middle of no-wheresville so it is hard to borrow or test anything for use in our current setting.
