I need a 49+ weighted key midi controller

My Axiom 25 is starting to feel a little cramped, I want a midi controller I can play using both hands. At the same time, I've really grown attached to weighted keys, which is really the only other requirement. If needs be, I'll just buy a larger Axiom and sell the old one, but I'd rather use the opportunity to get something new - and that way I get to keep both ;)

Are there any other options for my needs, or is it really the case that the Axioms are the only worthwhile weighted-key controllers?

sure there are lots of choices out there,
i have the axiom 61 which is built like a tank, or you could go with the big m-audio 88 key pro
i played one and loved it the action seems better than the axioms. cme builds great midi controllers but higher prices. ive heard good and bad things about the edirol controllers but have not played any. if i could afford a new controller id by the m-audio 88 key for piano stuff.
hope this was helpful to you. tim

I'll take a look at the 88 key pro. To be honest I do respect m-audio products; I often end up buying within their range because their keyboards, sound cards etc. always seem to get good reviews.

It's not surprising the Pro 88 had a better feel, being as how the keys are hammer-action weighted rather than semi-weighted like the axiom.
