I don't have it, but are you looking at the C03 or the C03U? the CO3U is a USB mic and I personally don't think there is any USB mic which is suitable for home studio use.

I've only read one person on these threads who has the non-usb version, but right now I can't remember who it was. someone on the MC forum, I think.

I don't think you will like the sound of it. Spend just a little more and get a Studio Projects B3. Or buy both and send one of them back. I think you will be keeping the B3

is the audio Technica a better mic then as I have been looking at that also. I was thinking of picking up the Samson CO3. tomorrow! but yep made a statement concerning the at2020 but it would be good to hear the mics for myself to make the comparisons. In this day an age the more i can save the better it is for me.

Yes, I think the AT2020 would be better. I did not like the sound of the CO1 or CO3 at all.

yeah all the vocals are the rv6, and my room isn't the best. i also use a samson q7 on my amp sometimes (shure sm57-a-like) i run it thru a soundcraft compact4 mixer which has decent preamps (for the price).

    well...

I tested the se2200 that will be my next mic but for now I have the Samson CO3. I like it it gives me abit more to my voice and it suits it as my voice is chest and my head voice is quite high too. this takes care of that maybe its just me but I have tested it out and it sounds ok. Not the best but it does the Job but I do like that se2200. I got my I on that baby!

fitted up applied the phantom 48v andI was basically good to go. It cuts back on room noise quite well which was what i needed. I was driving home thinking oh no! I made the wrong choice. but that feeling does not exist. I guess it is what you like that gives mikes the personal appeal.
