tele
My busy season has come to an end. I've been working loads of overtime. I made the mistake of web browsing a favorite guitar website, and found a Telecaster in my current favorite color. Here's the "pre owned" 2007 Custom Classic Telecaster I just HAD to buy: I only played it about 6 hours yesterday... I gotta play it some more today! :-) I just wanted to show it off :-) best regards, mike

SWEET! Something just special about the custom shop and that is just beautiful. I want one. I'd show it off too.

Look it's still got the ol' ticker on it. Don't look at it. Don't even point at it! It can never be played - ever!

Ha! I played it another 6 hours today. It's less than one year old but I got it for less than the price of a Warmoth build. It was seemingly in unused condition. It seems to be a one piece body with very nice grain pattern. I've had another American Standard Tele for 25 years so this one seemed instantly familiar. I play all my guitars but I have real good habits when handling them. I avoid belt buckles, hard buttons and such and use strap locks and good stands. I hope to own this guitar for a long time :-) best regards, mike

There's nothing like a good Telecaster. I used to drool over my friend's "light ash" Japanese Tele. It was done up vintage style, with a tight fretboard radius, three brass saddles, "bass" neck pickup circuit, and straight-head screws everywhere. When I say "drool", I mean it quite literally; I would drool on it while I played. He moved away, though, so I'll probably never see it again. Now I have to get my own. Damnit!
