Digital Village in the UK has similar. I don't think it adds up to anything other than they're allowed to PR it now it's announced. I've noticed no-one seems allowed to take pre-orders yet.

Yep and notice on the right the page shows Digi 003 which costs about half of the V studio? I though digi were the expensive guys we are all trying to get away from? I don't use synths much in my stuff so don't need phantom as I have dimension pro, z3ta, rapture and all the synhs in komplete NI bundle. Now if it came with a DSP that ran UAD plugs it would be a deal.

Cake needs to lower price or sell as separate boxes . . . ..or both. I have an interface and sonar so for 4k do I buy UAD-2 neve bundle plus mackie control surface or the rakewalk offering? lol

yeah i hear you . i'm feeling a little shakey on the purchase now being that Seth said there wont be any dsp processing. there is processing on the inputs, but not uad type processing. i've been looking around and seen some products that come close to want i want in a system, so i'll wait to see what the reviews say. i really want a stable system. i dont want to worry about setting buffer size for latency. i really despise that in this modern world of recording..............those vs 2480 and br16 were so nice. no hassle to record and monitor. the only weak link to those systems were the lack of a plug in architecture. i thought the new vs7oo would of been a crossbreed of vs2480 and computer (sonar) use. oh well you win some and you lose some.
