Powercore 6000- Any users?

Curious about the unit. Seems to be something I'd like to have but would have to travel
many hunderds of miles to check it out.

Thanks for any info.

At one time I was very hot to get that product, and found my clicker-finger twitching over the "buy" button more than once. But ultimately I did not get it, mainly because of the added latency. These days, my gear lust instinct keeps bringing me back to the UAD-2 cards, which give you the same CPU-saving benefit but at lower latency and a lower price (about $2K for the kitchen-sink package vs. $3K for the TC equivalent).

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Lol, I know the itchy finger part. I also know what's causing it and that may be what's stopping it.
I feel like purchasing better stuff will get me a better sound. Maybe true but in reality I'm not sure with my current knowledge/mixing abilities if it's a "right" purchase.
And then the latency issue. That alone bugs me every time I want to "grow".
Well the Cordoba 14 RS guitar is looking better. Less money...I know it will work. I can justify.

Uad-2 is the direction then - when my finger isn't itching and I think I'm ready.

Out of curiosity...have you heard and or used them both? Or was the latency issue shared info?

    Thanks David,
    Michael

I worry about TC's drivers more than anything. They are very slow to update anything from what I have seen.
