Track Manager

I've just installed my upgrade from HS6 to HS7XL. This is disappointing but I cannot find the Track Manager anymore. The help says to press the m key as usual with HS6 but it doesn't work. I also tried ctrl m; alt m; shift m. nothing work. this is the first time I post here and I'll be very glad to have some help. Thank you. Salva

C'est la vie...Submit the complaint to Tech Support...You've tried the options, they don't work--At least you were able to register your software (I presume) which many others haven't been able to do...

Thank you. I've already submitted a complaint/request for explanation to Tech Support. Waiting for an answer. Nice to hear I paid for one downgrade.
What would you do to hide one/ten track you don't want to see while you are working on others tarcks?

Just select all the tracks to hide, then right click and select Hide Track

Nice try. That was ok with SH6. With SH7 when finally you find out how to select multiple tracks and finally you find out where right clik ... you don't have the option to hide the track. I dare say "luckily". I'm imaging myself trying to show again the hidden track without the track manager.

Seems the bakers might have "dropped the ball" on this feature. If so, it's a shame. The track manager feature is an integral part of my workflow. Perhaps they should re-evaluate the participants in the beta-test program. The major "snafu" of not being able to use mutltiple outputs on softsynths is a perfect example. The "testers" either didn't really "test", or they didn't know enough about how a "true" studio consumer might use the software.

    Papa

Hmm. The more I read these HS7 posts the more I think I'll leap-frog over this upgrade and go straight to Sonar PE.

That sucks!. I never thought that 7 would be a great advantage over SH6 ( that's why I stay with 6 which works great for me), but having to cope with the fact that existing features go away, it's really bad.

Thank you for your support and your simpathy. I'll keep you informed about the answer that I'm gonna get from Tech Sup. Right away I'm not using HS7. I stick to HS6. Until now I've thrown away 100 Euros for the sw and the book . (Also the Garrigus book is ... disappointing)
