First Home Studio Song...

Hey all...

Finally got a song done in Home Studio. I did this one about a week before my copy of 7XL showed up, so this was done in 6XL. It's one song of a bunch I hope to do for a concept CD, pretty dark, with some hard stuff as well as soft stuff. It's the first song on my myspace, called I'll Haunt You. Just me on the keys (I'm not a keyboard player, so take it easy on me!) and vocals. The 2nd part does get a little strange...but it is a dream sequence and you should see some of my dreams!

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Mac

Mac, great vocal on this. Very clear sound with a nice touch of reverb. (what did you use ?) Cool song that reminded me of Alan Parsons Project. Good mix that sounded great in my headphones. Very cool song. Where the hell you been?

Mac, great work on the keys to get that finger picking acoustic sound so nice. I really like your song. What a dream!

A fine piece of music I must say. The title fit the song alright. Good voice and well executed. Loved that 2 minute ending... that was a nice change-over.

Yeah, an excellent very Justin Hayward vocal although I think I actually prefer your voice and that 'verb going off underneath it sounds really cool.

Very shiny production here it's all very well done, didn't the Moody's do that waking up thing too or did I dream that?

Great contrib, I hope you become a regular here.

    Mac,

Great job overall, and the vox really stood out. Liked the ending, that sounded 'ghostly' to me.

    Cool tune,
    Doug

I agree, good song. The ending was reminded me of being startled awake from a dream.
