Sonar 7 Track Freeze Question....
Hello People, My question is how many tracks, both synth and VST (non-synth), can be frozen at any given time. In my project I had Addictive Drums frozen, but it would not let me freeze another synth track (Korg Wavestation). Thanks, Randy

I don't know if there is a limit, but I have a lot of projects with several audio and midi frozen at once.

Hi stratoj, When I go to freeze more than one track the Freeze function is greyed-out, not allowing me to access the freeze function. I'm not sure what is going on? Randy

I click on the what is recorded (WAV file?) until it turns black. Next I go to the tool bar and find the freze function and double-click to freeze the track. Randy

you probably still have the 1st track highlighted. try highlighting the next track you want to freeze by clicking on the number of the track. then right click on the properties of that track (in an area where there are no parameters, just grey space) and then choose freeze.

ahh, try right clicking in a "blank" part of the track box on the left and freeze from the menu options?

I have older projects with all tracks frozen. Audio and soft synths. There is no limit to frozen tracks, just like there is no limit for audio, midi, and plugins. Cj

Hey Beagle, stratoj, and Cj, I'm not sure what was going on, but I am now able to freeze any number and type of track without issue. Again, thanks for the quick replies to my "issue". Randy
