Glitchy Elec Instrumental Piece for Short Film

I put together this piece for a friend's short film. He basically said, "hey make 5 minutes of weird but cool music," so that's what I tried to do.

it's called "static score" at:
soundclick.com/dudemanjch

it takes about a minute for things to get interesting, just an fyi.

Debut Album, all in SONAR!

    Nice, I dig it.

Lots of cools sounds going on. Not too weird, but drives along nicely.

    Well done.

I agree with Shad. Good job. Be interesting to see/hear it in context.

I couldnt help but chuckle at the "wierd but cool" direction. Sounds just like a film maker!

dude- nice sounds and a nice mix. A bit long for a score but only parts of scores usually get use anyway. Scores should be about 2:00 long. I like all of the sounds you used in this piece, has a lot of great potential. John

yea, well he basically had a 5 min video on YouTube, and this piece runs throughout. So I guess "score" is probably not the most accurate term...but I didn't know what else to call it hehe.

Glad you all liked it; I tried to get some weird sounds in there but not make it too distracting.

Very cool pumping atmosphere. Crazy cool sounds. Alot of music in this type of genre tends to remain flat for most of the tune but this has great up and downs. Kept my interest very well. I'd say you nailed "weird but cool" although I'd say about 75% cool 25% weird.
