Whats the preferences for Sonar 8PE and Motu 828mkII

Hi,

I had just bought a Motu 828mkII with USB2 connection to my pc.
Also I got Sonar 8 PE by the way. When I use Sonar 8 with Motu
ASIO drivers it responds with latency when I play midi keyboard to any of
the instruments in Sonar8.

When I use Cubase 4 with the same ASIO drivers it works perfect but
not with Sonar 8.

My question is what should I use ? ASIO or WDM with my Motu interface
to get a lower latency ? Whats the best practise for Sonar 8 ?
I had also a lot of other VST (ASIO) plugins I want to use within Sonar 8.

I had allready downloaded the latest drivers from Motu witch are
3.6.8.1328 but it dident help. I had sample rate 44100, internal as
clock source and 1024 as sample per buffer in the MOTU Audio Console.

In the Audio Options in Sonar I had MOTU Audio ASIO main out 1-2 as
playback, and MOTU Audio ASIO Mix1 1 for record. The samplings rate are
44100. In the Advanced tab the playback I/O are 512 and the Record I/O 512.
The driver mode is ASIO.

But in the Record Latency Adjustment (samples), Sonar dont save the device
MOTU Audio ASIO (7 in, 7 out) when I confirm it, instead it roll it back to
Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver (1 in, 1 out) ? I dont want to use the
Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver, I want to use MOTU Audio ASIO (7 in, 7 out).

My pc got Intel Quad x 4 2,4 ghz CPU:s and 3 gb of RAM, and two SATA disks.

Whats the best practise ? Please help.
