Last Goodbye

Well I finally found a moment to write something new lol. 2 kids and a wife plus running a website makes it difficult. Add the job in and almost impossible.

Thanks to Buddrumming for his killer drum work and Ked for his guitar solo. A big thanks to Kent for his mixing of this tune!

Hope you guys like!

great tune , maybe a little bit of a grittier vocal at the beginning it sounds a little sweet till about halfway but then the vocal kicks in.

Excellent Dazed! Loved the middle section and the guitar solo (playing & tone) on the end was the icing on the cake! Good voice and good tune.

Hey Dazed, I always remembered you having a great rock voice and this tune is no exception. You have that Bryan Adams quality to my ears. The middle breakdown and ending did it for me. Great arrangement as well. Nice, tasteful lead.

nice vocals. Gtrs maybe a little fuzzy and tinny for my taste. nice song too. my ears hearing a much punchier production, probably with the drums...but that's me. I like the wide acoustic stuff and thought maybe some other stuff in the mix could be that way too.

    Hey Daze,
Overall pretty nice, but I think the electric guitars could be much bigger.
If they were spread out a bit instead of appearing center and some eq to make them less harsh.
The solo also sounds a bit behind the beat or something at the start.

Hey guys really appreciate the feedback and the comments. They mean a lot. Mixmkr I like the sound on the guitars but I agree with you in a way. Depending on the setup, I hear them the same way. iPod sounded tinny. Studio cans sounded great hehe. I am changing my recording setup on the next couple of tunes.

    Thanks again everyone!

I really like your voice. One question- have you tested the mix on different speakers. On my set up it feels a little bass heavy which might mean translation issues.

Nice work Dazed. Sounds nice. Some very wide spacing on the shakier sounding percussion. Acoustic change is effective.

Fantastic production here. You're eeeking away time to do it was worth it. Get the mrs and kiddies to run the website and live under your headphones. ........It's my plan.
