Plugin Layout Files and CLID of Plugins

Hi guys,

Regarding the Plugin Layout files, if I have the layout I want on one machine, can I move it to another with EXACTLY the same plugins on it? Will the CLIDs of the plugins (both VST and DX) be the same across all machines, or are they assigned by Sonar at random?

    DX plug-ins have an internal CLSID that won't change (unless the manufacturer recompiles it incorrectly :-)); VSTs should retain the same CLSID, but I think you may need to put them in the same location (directory structure) on both machines, although this restriction may have been removed in later SONARs.
