vibrato on a trumpet duet patch
To add to kwgm's reply: It would be more controllable (yet also, more mechanical) to point to the Pitch LFO as a destination. Something to the effect of
Channel Aftertouch -> Pitch LFO 1 Depth -> 20-25 Hz. -> 0.0 as a slot in the MIDI Matrix. If you'd like a little 'fade in/out' on the vibrato, bump the Smooth value up from 0.0 to ~2.5.
You'll need to enable the Pitch LFO(s) at the Element level, too. You may want to change the default 'triangle 0' waveform to the 'sine 1' selection (by clicking on it). A Depth of 0.00 pushes all control over the Pitch LFO to aftertouch.
Status: On
Freq: ~4.50 - 6.50 Hz.
Delay: 0.00
Fade: optional Depth: 0.00
If I'm guessing correctly, you want to use this on DimPro's 'Trumpet Duo f' preset. Two Elements, and each on represents a trumpet. If you want vibrato to affect both, you'll need to set up both the Pitch LFO in Element 1, and the Pitch LFO in Element 2. It adds realism to vary the vibrato settings for each 'instrument'. You may want to vary the Freq slightly in each LFO, or vary the Depth settings in the MIDI Matrix slots.
