8 faster than 7

Is it true that 8 will have a lower CPU than 7 ?

Yep, your computer's CPU automatically downgrades itself when you go to 8!

Word on the street is yes. I have read many posts on the main forum of success stories in this. I have also read a few that see no difference. But I think most people get an improvement of some sort.

With the CPU meters jumping around it's hard to analyze, but yesterday I posted my specific observation that a current project takes 3 seconds longer to load into 8 than 7.

So that aspect seems to be surprisingly slower.

    best regards,

There seems to be a lot of people experiencing teething problems with 8. Depending on how upset they are, they either receive death threats or are belittled by the lucky diehard fans who are experiencing no problems. If you had have posted this thread with this thread title and that thread question over in the raging waters of the Producer forum...well...I don't even wanna think about what would have happened to you...

I'm not seeing any noticable improvement. I have seen a few things that take longer to do. Delete a softsynth for example.

Still doesn't take as long as it did to rewind my ADATs and get them to sync back up.
