speaker modeling plugins for S7

I've gotten to the point in my backing tracks that I need to hear what different speakers are going to sound like. I have Samson studio monitors but my portable cd player sound is much muddier.
Is there a reasonable software, maybe a plugin that has modeling features or can profiled for a speaker system so I can mix for that system as to give better output. Is there a cakewalk feature that has this as an add on, thanks Wyndham

Speaker modeling.... I'm thinking... that for this to work, your speakers would have to be the absolute top of the line to start with in a treated room..... otherwise.... It would be like trying to show how precise a high def TV picture is on an old fuzzy analog TV with a lousy antenna connection.

    just my 2 cents...

My home town is called Wyndham... It's in NSW Australia...

I agree with Guitarhacker. No idea if there are any plugs out there like that though. Remember that most of what your speakers sound like it due to the room you are in provided it is your average untreated room.

Hey Matt i saw a photo once of Wyndham in NSW, at the edge of a bay I believe. It looked rather sparse. my ex saw it on the map once and wanted to go there just to say Wyndham, from Wyndham. One of many reasons she's my EX, though I would love to go gold prospecting in Oz, I have several fellow prospectors on several gold forums that make a living out there in the dry season. Thanks, Wyndham

I think the same thinking would apply to mic modelers. It all hinges on the source and room that the source is located.

i check on my $1000 speakers, my $80 PC Speakers, my Laptop's internal Speaker, and my car. if it sounds good in all 4 of those it's good enough for the mastering engineer to take to the next level.
