Beatscape Drag and Drop

Hey everyone, just discovered the Beatscape plug-in today! Having loads of fun with it, but one thing I'm struggling with is the Drag and Drop feature, I've read that you can drag and drap audio from Sonar directly into Beatscape. Does anyone know how I go about doing this? I've created a drum beat in Session Drummer 2 and want to bring it across to Beatscape, but I'm not sure how to do it. Any help greatly appreciated!

Kind Regards.

Cheers JenksTer and congrats on getting drag n'drop to work with Beatscape. I had been interested in your question, and was looking forward to somebody answering.

Since you figured it out yourself, could you post how you did it for the rest of us?

    I appreciate it.

You should be able to just grab an audio clip in SONAR and drop it onto a pad in Beatscape. Keep in mind that it will copy the whole clip, and the shorter the clip the more accurately Beatscape will slice up your file.

Thanks Brian. I guess if you split off a clip and apply trimming, you can get a nice tight sample going. I'll have a go at creating a monster patch with some of my own samples this weekend...

Hey, yea I was trying to copy over a midi file, didn't realise it had to be converted to audio first.... About Beatscape, I get popping on many audio files I drag into it, some work fine though, ala Session Drummer 2, but when I drag over audio created in Dimension Pro for example, I get popping. Annoying!!
