Important Question: PCR 500 & Dimension

Hi,

I bought a PCR 500 midi keyboard two days ago. I tried to assign the keyboard knobs (R1 - R9) to Dimension's knobs, but I have the following problem:
All the knobs (R1 - R9) control the same knob on the VST, even when I only assign one. So for example if I assign R1 to CUTOFF, all the knobs from R1 to R9 control
the CUTOFF knob on the VST. I tried to do it with the MIDI learn function

What do I have to do to solve this problem, it's the same with the pads (A1 - A8 , B1 - B8) and the sliders (S1 - S8)

    I seem to remember having this same problem a while ago when I made a custom control map. In the end I think I just reset the keyboard to its factory settings and used the default control map, 0.

    Rez , have you set it up as an ACT controller?

    I don't own that specific keyboard and am not in front of my DAW, but hopefully there should already be a preset for it

    set it up as a generic control first, then go into the specific ACT setup..

    it should just trigger... and if theres an ACT preset .. in my case for the ozone , it'll say m-audio ozone (preset 5) , if I don't use preset 5 on the keyboard it don't work..

    since the PCR is roland / edirol product.. I'd imagine it would have a preset for it.

    Hi everybody, I'm a new user here and also a new user of a PCR-300. I'm having the same problem with using midi learn (in reaktor) where I try and select one knob for cutoff, one for filter etc. but it reads all of the knobs as the same midi control so all knobs control one parameter. Does anybody know how you stop this?

    I've tried changing midi settings in reaktor and I have used the keyboard in Traktor too, in Traktor it was set to omni (but not locked) and it would give each knob its own channel although they still had the same CC ##). Any help is much appreciated and sorry if it's a stupid question.
