Help, Mixer, compressor, eq, powered speaker

Hello everyone, im a newbie when it comes to this stuff. Just want to know if im doing this right. Cables from mixer (in) to the compressor (out), compressor(in) to eq (out), eq (in) to Powered speaker.

Is this the right way to connect this stuff?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

"eq(in) to Powered Speaker" certainly doesn't look right to me. Some "out" (a line level out) needs to go to the powered speaker.

    I guess that
eq --> compressor --> Mixer --> powered speaker
    or
compressor --> eq --> Mixer --> powered speaker

And of course you need some signal that goes to the first item in the list.

I think you might get better results if you post your question in the Gear forum. The Pro Audio forum is for the Cakewalk product known as "Pro Audio". Yeah, I know....it's a confusing name. Pro Audio morphed into Sonar many years ago.
