Sound blaster audigy question

I found a CD of Sound Blasater Audigy my wife had in her computer CD's. This computer crashed awhile back and sound blaster audigy was lost. Should I re-install?

    Only if the sound card is physically present in the machine. Loading a driver CD for a non existent audio card could result in a disaster.

    The soundblaster is best installed by placing it in the nearest rubbish bin.

    Why, I thought the problem was in the GT3 code Pete?

    Didn't you once say the 'software should work' with 'any soundcard' - or have I misread 862 of your miserable 999 posts?

    Is the AC97 in the rubbish bin yet?
