Missing plugin

I must have some mental block here but I can't figure this out. I downloaded a plugin called synodeia2 which does audio-to-MIDI translation (I'm not sure if these can work in P5 - I will make a separate posting about another one).

I put the plugin in my normal VST folder. When I opened P5 it didn't appear as an effect (or a synth). But when I open the plugin manager, it is shown in the list of enabled VST effects. I tried various things like disabling and then enabling again, as well as moving the .dll and re-launching, but nothing has worked.

If I do manage to get the plugin to appear, has anyone tested this VST in P5?

Is the VST plugin folder listed inside of Project5 in the VST Scanned Folders list? (Options | VST Plugins). If not then just add it. If so then try some of the options to rescan or reset in that dialog box to see if it helps.
