Jamstix 2 Users: Percussion Add-On $59

I love this time of year. A great time to get in on year-end sales. Maybe I can't afford to buy a new car, but I can still put something musical into my own stocking.

I've already decided to take advantage of NI's Kontakt 3 upgrade offer at $74. Now comes along a cool-looking add-on for Jamstix. It's a percussion section (3 A.I. percussionists) with the usual congas, cowbells, darbukas, maracas and tambourines (3 of 'em), plus a couple of not-so-ordinary goodies: a 22" gong, finger cymbals and 2 rainsticks.

For $59 it's a cheap way to expand your percussive palette.

(Now, if I can just get Jamstix to start working again...it's suddenly insisting that my license key is no good...iLok doesn't look so bad when this stuff happens...no, must resist the Dark Side!)

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Dave,

Bought it. Downloaded it. Installed it.

    Yesterday.

Looks good so far. Prolly can't play with it until this weekend.

Even though I'm a bass player, I'm hoping they will come out with JamBassist soon, too.

Sorry to hear about your license code. Give Ray a shout out, he's one of the better ones out there (CS wise).
