    Paul, maybe email them ? ya never know, they might surprise you. worth a try anyway. It's only 1-2 day difference?

    I've done that a few times with various companies and they have been decent.. or if they haven't.. well my money goes elsewhere.

    edit : if ya get no joy with sam... then try toon direct... I bet they were well aware of the offer that was upcoming. I would spend far more in a shop if a sales person said "wait a few days".. I used to do that with customers myself (the odd time I had to sell things) , in the long run people come back again and again because you were straight with em.
