PCR-800 & Track Bank changes

I've just started using a PCR-800 with Sonar 7.02 and it's great but for one niggly problem.

I've set up a couple of buttons - one to select the "next track bank" and another to select "previous track bank" (I'm referring to the tracks in the track & console view) It works but jumps in banks of 10, not 8 as I'd expect. That is to say the WAI shows for example tracks 1 - 8 being controlled, I push the "next track bank" button and WAI shows 11 - 18, completely skipping tracks 9 & 10. They are selectable via next/previous track but that's not the point, surely a controller with 8 channels strips (excluding 9 which is designated master) should jump by 8 not 10? It does this all the way through the tracks.

Is this a bug or am I being dim and missing something obvious?

Karl, I have reproduced the behaviour in 8.02 and I've looked all over for a way of controlling the WAI bank jumps but can't find anything.

What is interesting is when you come back down the tracks the WAI markers don't usually end up where they started. This must be built into Sonar but there's nothing in any of the initialization files that helps.

At the end of the day it's probably more reliable to right click the WAI to select where you want it to start from.

I'm trying to solve the same issue.  Has nobody solved it since 2008?
