DDrum trigger ---> Lexicon Omega ---> Sonar

This is a question about connecting to synths from a live drumset. i dont have a drum module.

Setup goes like this,

real drumkit --> ddrum trigger ---> Lexicon Omega ---> Sonar (synths either Addictive drums or Ezdrummer)

Is it possible by using the Omega Lexicon?

S7PE, ACER 7720G (T7300 CORE 2 DUO, 1GB DDR2), LINE6 UX2, LEXICON OMEGA, KORG D1600 MIXER, IBANEZ RG & SIGNATURE K7 SERIES, PEAVEY MKII MODULE, AMPLITUBE METAL... im jez an ordinary metalhead \m/

I don't know anything about the ddrum trigger, but if it's MIDI then it should have a MIDI port, if it has a MIDI port, then connect that to your lexicon omega MIDI INPUT and then you can select that as a valid MIDI input in your MIDI devices in sonar and then you can select it as an input on a MIDI track and use that to trigger drum synths like AD or EZD in sonar.

real drumkit --> ddrum trigger ---> Lexicon Omega ---> Sonar (synths either Addictive drums or Ezdrummer)

This can work, but you will need to use a program like Drumagog or Apptrigga in Sonar to convert the audio signal to a midi note then send to a drum synth.

edit: check out the links I posted in this thread HERE
