Big Improvement in Vista 64 DPC Latency

I came across this thread in RME's forums:

Possible Solution for some DPC latency issues

Quite simply, the advice was to change the Power Management scheme to "High Performance".

I was skeptical that it would work for me, because the big latency spikes seemed to occur when I moved the mouse around, suggesting a video-related issue.

But I tried it, and now I'm getting as flat a line under DPC Latency Checker as I get with XP!

I haven't checked audio performance yet, because I've uninstalled SONAR PE 8 from my Vista installation (long story). I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

SONAR Platinum
Windows 10
ASUS X99E WE
Core i7 5960X
32 GB Corsair DDR4 2133 C13
Fireface UFX USB driver 1.098
GeForce GTX 950

What and where is this option on vista OS. The high performance change. Would like to know more about this switch. Usually Im able to start my projects with the latency set at 128 and the more tracks that I add the higher I have to go to keep from having dropouts and latency issues. The highest Ive had to go is 512 and Sonar performs well
