Dimension PRO not properly installed Sonar 8

Hi All,

I'm a newbie with Sonar 8 Producer Edition and Dimension PRO 1.2. After installation of both packages I get an error when adding a Dimension PRO instrument in the 'Synth Rack' or open a project with Dimension PRO instruments allready inside.

The error message says; Dimension Pro is not properly installed. Please reinstall it using your original CD.

I installed it on Windows Vista SP1. I reisntalled the program (all DVD's) several time but the error is still there. During the last installation I started every install program as 'Administrator'. I think it's a Dimension matter, Sonar seems to work fine. The message only appears with Dimension. All other VST's I installed seems to work fine.

Can somebody help me please?

    Try launching the SONAR application "As Administrator" then try to use Dimension Pro and see if the results are any different.

    Willy, I am experiencing the same thing.

    I am running XP Home SP 3. I receive the error in all hosts, not just Sonar 8. Happens in Tracktion as well.

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Dimension Pro and Sonar. I did not try to reinstall Tracktion once I realized the error was coming from Dimension Pro.

    DP was the main reason I upgraded to Sonar 8. I really need it to work. Sonar does work just fine for every other plug in I use, commercial or otherwise. DP is the only plug not functioning properly.

    First thought is that Dimension Pro's Resources folder was either moved or modified but you really should contact our support team so we can get more info from you and resolve it. Call us at 617-423-9021 or e-mail using http://www.cakewalk.com/support/email

    has anyone actually fixed this issue? I've tried running sonar in admin mode, and I did the copy files to the x64 directory .. and nothing!! I'm running vista x64 and installed sonar in 32bit mode, this has been always the case.. It is strange that dimpro suddenly has errors in installation. Anyone please help!!
