DAW Builders in Australia...where are you?

Do you mean just the computer part or the interface/ soundcard/ preamp/ midi keyboard...all of that...or just the computer as in HD, mobo, ram etc

Hi, The only one I could find (after a considerable search) is Major Music in Sydney. http://www.majormusic.com.au/ They are resellers of a whole lot of software and hardware and are the liscened retailer of Carillion specialised DAWs THey set up the computer specifically for music and they will sell and load any software you want. Be warned that their service is variable ( I found it ok, not brilliant, but a friend couldn't get them to return his calls), but if you persist you'll get a good machine. Good luck! Andrew

Its the PC component that I am looking at not the DAW software or any of the peripherals to the PC or soundcard.

So you're not so good at computers? Do you know if there is a 'umart' near you? They can help you out...plus they have the cheapest prices I have seen. Tell them you need this and that, they'll juice ya up.

Do Manny's or Factory Sound sell DAW's as well as the recording side.... I'd talk to either of them if they do (Manny's does goood coffee too!)

Carillion, maybe the same UK company that went into administration (went under) so one of their pc's is the last thing to buy. It was part of the turnkey group I think.
