Can I use sanar 6 effects on to sonar 7?

Can I use sanar 6 effects on to sonar 7?

I just got sonar 7 and it does not have all the sonar 6 sunitus: fx effects that I did on my other recordings from sonar 6. The sonar 6 disk in at my lead guitarist (he owns it) house so I can't try it know but if you know if this is posible please let me know. Or can I buy them some where.

I have sonar 7 home studio my lead guitar player has sonar 6 pro, can I get the cakewalk effects to download from sonar 6 to 7 not the 2 master devices. ?

    You don't want to use the S6 Sonitus plugs - the ones with S7 are new versions that have been modified to support sidechaining.

    The problem is that the new Sonitus DLLs were not installed because the S6 versions inexplicably had a higher internal version number than the new ones.

    What you need to do is delete, rename or move the old Sonitus plugs and reinstall S7.

    Ah, I should have mentioned where to find the Sonitus plugins. Look in c:\program files\cakewalk\shared plugins.

    Create a folder called old_sonitus and move all the files beginning with "Sonitus..." (e.g. SonitusFXreverb.dll) into the old_sonitus folder. That way you can get them back if something awful happens. But you probably won't ever need them again.

    Wait a minute, I just re-read your original post. Ignore everything I just advised. I didn't realize you had Home Edition. What I just told you above does not apply.

    I'm guessing the Sonitus plugs won't work in Home Edition, and it wouldn't be legal if it did.
