Rapture LE Feedback Distortion Problem!

Has anyone had feedback or distortion problems with Rapture?
As I am going thru sampling some presets I get feedback/distortion. I have to reset sound engine and once I continue the distortion comes back.
For now I am using the E-MU 1616 pci card and have everything route thru ASIO 1 and 2, if this makes sence. I also built my own computer.
ASUS mobo, 2 gigs ddr3 ram, 500g hd and have disable the mobo sound card and striped XP pro for best performance.
None of the other synth have the same issue.

are you sure it's not something to do with how the card is set up?

it's a gradual build up over time?

there is a ONE patch , it's either in Rapture or DP that I deleted that will I do that. (I can't recall which)

    maybe you have already?

also how are you doing with your asio buffers? maybe try upping them , so instead of 256 , try 512 etc.

see how you get on with that.

    Fog,
It seems to happen on a few different preset samples. They start ok and after a few notes the distortion/feedback sound starts.
Is the ASIO driver the best on to use with S8P?
I have read some prefer the ASIO drivers and others wave driver, not sure if this might be an issue.

Thanks Fog, Will give it a shot.
